Dr. Junsik Kim, D.M.D.

Prosthodontist

Dr. Kim’s clinical interest is focused on minimally invasive, conservative, and predictable dental reconstruction. His ultimate goal is to understand patient concerns and provide treatment tailored to the patient’s unique circumstances and needs. As a restorative specialist, his practice is primarily dedicated to cosmetic dentistry, removable dentures, implant restorations, and full-mouth reconstructions. 

 Dr. Kim graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010 and received his 3-year postdoctorate specialty in Prosthodontist at the University of California, San Francisco. He has also taught at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry as an Assistant Professor before starting private practice in Fairfield. 



Dr. Victor Hwang, D.D.S.

Endodontist

Dr. Victor Hwang is a native of the East Bay Area. He was born in San Francisco and raised in Walnut Creek. He received his Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA as an undergraduate. He attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. He decided to pursue further training in dentistry by completing a one year fellowship in general dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2002. He returned to the Bay Area to practice full time in private practice as a general dentist for about 3 years in Pleasant Hill, California. During that period he also served as a part time clinical instructor at the UCSF School of Dentistry. After practicing general dentistry, he discovered his passion in dentistry was in endodontics. He continued his training and received his endodontic specialty certificate from the New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. Currently, he is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association, and Southern Alameda Dental Society. He was immediate President of the Northern California Academy of Endodontists (NCAE) in 2016 after serving on the board for the previous 3 years.


Dr. Nathan Palanker

Periodontist

Dr. Nathan Palanker is a Board-certified Periodontist specializing in the treatment of periodontal diseases and dental implants.
Dr. Palanker was born in Russia but spent most of his life in the Bay Area. He served three years in the Israeli military before attaining a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. After two successful years working in the biotechnology industry, Dr. Palanker attended the University of California, San Francisco where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Dr. Palanker moved to Houston, Texas, where he completed his Periodontics residency and obtained a Master's of Science at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Palanker holds licenses in both the state of California and Texas and is proficient in English, Hebrew, and Russian. He is active in animal rescue and often fosters dogs and cats in need of a home. He loves animals, traveling, and being outdoors while not spending time bringing high quality patient-driven care and comfort to the Bay Area.
